How To Build Database Driven E-Mail
Using HostedDatabase.com, businesses can embed databases such as web data entry and search criteria forms
directly inside of an e-mail message to facilitate e-mail marketing campaigns. As a small business,
you can request important information from vendors, clients, and team members via e-mail.
Furthermore, the recipients of your e-mail can enter the data without first having to go to a website.
Due to the convenience of not having to click on a link in the e-mail, loading a web browser, and
going to a website, the rate at which e-mail recipients will take the time to enter data into
the form improves considerably. Whenever someone fills out the form,
the data gets sent to your HostedDatabase.com database, where you can manage the information or
download to your desktop PC. You can even choose to receive an e-mail notification each time
someone posts new information to your database. Database e-mail is available to HostedDatabase.com
Premium and Enterprise accounts.
In order to create database e-mails, you use HostedDatabase.com in the same manner as usual up to the point of
selecting one of the Generate HTML tools in the Control Panel. When you see the pop-up window containing
the generated HTML, just copy and paste it into your e-mail program (such as Outlook). Most e-mail programs have an
HTML mode that accepts common types of HTML such as forms.
