How to Delete All Data From a Database
The Delete all data from a database tool in the Control Panel allows
you to delete all records in a database without deleting the structure of the database.
This tool is useful when you wish to refresh a centrally used database with new data content from an
external source. For example, maybe your database contains a customer list that comes from an accounting
system. Periodically, you have the accounting system generate an up-to-date list so you can
upload it to HostedDatabase.com. Using this tool, you can clear the way for the new list.
Clicking on the Delete all data from a database tool in the Manage Databases
section of the Control Panel, you see a pull-down list containing the names of all databases defined
for your account. Select the database to delete data from the list, and click the Delete button.
You'll be prompted to confirm the delete process, and if you click on the DELETE all data
button, the data records are purged from the database.
