How to Run Web Applications
Once you create a web application and associate one or more application
users with the application, it is time to run the application. There are several ways to run
a web application depending on whether you are the account administrator or an application
user. The following list itemizes the methods you may use to run an application:
| Account Administrator |
If you are logged in as the account administrator, you
can run a web application by selecting the Run an Application tool in the Manage Applications section
of the Control Panel.
Next, you must login to the application by entering the Application User Name and Password
that you previously created, and clicking on the Login button. Once you've been authenticated,
you'll see a pull-down list of all
applications associated with the application user. An application user may be associated with any
application defined for the account.

| Application User |

application users will use to run an application since in general, an application user should not have
administrative access to your applications. Therer are two ways to run an application as an application user:
Application User Login area on the HostedDatabase.com homepage. If you click on the Login
button, you'll be prompted for Account Name, User Name and Password. You must
provide all of your application users with the account name so they are able to run applications. Next,
you'll see a pull-down list of all applications associated with the application user. An application user
may be associated with any application defined for the account.
Use an Application link in the footer area of the HostedDatabase.com homepage. If you click on this
link, you'll be prompted in the same manner as above.
