The eCommerce Networking Group is an informal gathering of 300+ eCom professionals including: e-Entrepreneurs, CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, VCs, angel investors, scientists, educators, lawyers, doctors, merchants, and chiefs.  The purpose of this group is to provide a marketplace for the exchange of ideas concerning what's hot and what's not in eCom.  The orginal two eBrewers, Duke Bristow from the UCLA Anderson school of management, and Michael Krieger from the UCLA Computer Science department, expected 40 people at the first event and over 200 came!  The last event topped 350.  eCom leaders from San Diego to Silicon Valley to Seattle joined in last time.  Over 100 different eCom companies were represented at the last eBrew.

eCriteria is a new Internet start-up venture sponsored by AMULET Development Corp., a Web database and e-commerce development firm.  Through its sponsorship, the company hopes to secure new strategic and technology partners, find employment candidates, and contact venture capital funding sources.

A Word from the CEO

“We're excited and proud to be co-sponsors of the upcoming e-Brew networking event, as its organizers are from the same UCLA Computer Science Department in which the Internet was born," says eCriteria founder and CEO, Dan D. Gutierrez.  “Michael Krieger and I have been around the CS department on campus for a very long time, and both of us witnessed how Dr. Klienrock's packet switching technology provided the framework for what has become a technology revolution.  It's great to be part of this evolution with our own product, eCriteria.”
