eCriteria
Chosen as Recipient of 2001 Golden Web Award Written by Ms. Camille Jacks, PR Manager
Culver City, Calif. – April 16, 2001 –
eCriteria is very excited to announce its selection for receiving the
Golden Web Award for 2001. eCriteria officially launched in just January of this
year, but is already enjoying many of the prestigious benefits bestowed on much
longer established sites. After only three months since launch, eCriteria has
members from over 45 countries around the world. The site also jumped out to an
impressive Alexa traffic rating of 97,399, classifying it as one of the top
100,000 websites in the world. The eCriteria site is now located at
www.eCriteria.net.
The Golden Web
Award is a highly sought out award given to accomplished webmasters and
designers internationally. The
award ceremonies are held annually in a new and unique location. This year, the
ceremony will be held in November, in Las Vegas,
Nevada.
The judges for
the Golden Web Awards are provided through the International Association of
Webmaster and Designer’s (IAWMD).
The panel of judges consists of a Voluntary Voting Committee. The committee in turn is comprised of
IAWMD members who volunteer their time to visit and score the web sites
submitted for this award.
Web sites
submitted are judged and scored in three primary categories: Design, Content,
and Originality. Scores for each
category are between 1-10. The
scores are gathered and totaled, and an average score is computed across all
judges. A score of 30 is perfect and a site must have a score between 24 and 30
to win this award.
A Word From the CEO
“The eCriteria team is very pleased to receive the
prestigious Golden Web Award for website excellence,” say Dan D. Gutierrez,
eCriteria’s founder and CEO. “The acceptance of our web database publishing
technology by small businesses around the world is very gratifying, and the
recognition that this award affords will definitely help develop our brand even
further.”
